  2. Finish any old work, prepare for Momentum and Impulse Quiz

Momentum and Impulse Quiz on Thursday. 

For the quiz, make sure you can:

  1. Solve conservation of momentum problems including (a)elastic collisions (b) inelastic collisions (c) problems like firing a cannon
  2. Solve for impulse, Δp, Δv, F using the equation J=Ft=mΔv=Δp remember that in a collision the impulses are equal and opposite
  3. Know that impulse can be found by finding area under an F/t line
  4. Be able to solve a problem with a block sliding down an incline, colliding with a second block, then flying off a table.
